Polytech Glass is delivering the latest in architectural patterned glass splashbacks - Patterntech. A unique concept where we have 5 different original patterned glass designs from classic to modern, allowing you to create an individual space that is visually breathtaking!

Our unique technology is used to manufacture Patterntech, the patterns are formed into the glass using high temperatures making the pattern part of the glass structure, (the pattern is not printed onto the glass with unreliable ink). Then it’s coated with our colour sparkle coating system, giving you a vibrant patterned glass.

Patterntech is Grade A safety glass and is toughened glass to Australian Standards AS2208/1996 (toughened glass is also known as tempered glass) in accordance with AS1288/2006 making Patterntech suitable for both domestic and commercial settings.

Patterntech has the creative pattern formed into the glass leaving the front surface of the glass flat and completely smooth eliminating any areas where dust, oil or grime can accumulate, leaving you with an easy to clean surface that requires minimal effort to maintain.

Q:	When is my Patterntech project ready for measuring?
A:	For a kitchen splashback this is ready when all cabinetry are installed, including overhead cupboards, flyovers, bench tops, power points, switches, architraves, stoves and all fittings where mirratech is going to be installed.

Q:	Is it a tidy installation?
A:	Yes! All manufacturing is carried out in the factory, making for a clean installation there is no cutting on site.

Q:	How is Patterntech installed to the walls?
A:	Patterntech is installed using Strong industrial adhesives. The perimeters are sealed all the way around, making it completely sealed.

Q:	Is Patterntech transparent or opaque?
A:	Patterntech is completely opaque therefore you don't see any patches on the wall.

Q:	What condition do my walls have to be in for installation?
A:	We can install Patterntech on most surfaces that are reasonable, ensure that there is no hi spots sticking out; this includes walls made from rendered, plaster, villa board, and repaired walls etc.

Q:	Can I have power points or light switch's in Patterntech?
A:	Yes! This is no problem; as this is taken into account when we measure to allow for cut-outs in the glass, ensure these are all fitted in walls prior to check measuring.

Q:	Can I have Patterntech glass behind my range hood canopy?
A:	Yes! The range hood needs to be pre-fitted and fixing points need to be installed or marked out, also pre-fitting of ducting or marking out is necessary. Patterntech gets installed first and then the range hood canopy.

Q:	Does Patterntech come with a warranty?
A:	Yes! Patterntech comes with a 5-year warranty. Against deterioration and delamination of the coating and on all our workmanship.

Q:	How long does it take to manufacture my Patterntech product?
A:	Manufacturing time is 7-10 working days on average from check measure in most times and in extreme times eg: Christmas rush 12-15 days.

Q:	How do I care for my Patterntech product?
A:	We recommend for best results to use a streak free glass cleaner with a good quality paper towel or lint free cloth. Avoid abrasive harsh cleaners, scouring pads or steel wool; also avoid the use of spirits or solvents to clean the glass.
