Our Mirratech Mirror Splashback provides a creative solution by adding the illusion of extra space and adding more reflective light into an area. It’s suitable in kitchens, bathrooms and outside wet areas, as it is heat-resistant, corrosion proof, moisture-resistant, water vapour resistant and can be used in high air humidity areas.
Mirratech Mirror Splashback is Grade ‘A’ Safety Glass and is Toughened Glass to Australian standards AS 2208/1996 (known as tempered glass) in accordance with AS 1288/2006 therefore making our product suitable for most conditions, recommended for use in domestic and commercial settings. This makes them perfect for using near a direct heat source, such as a splashback in your kitchen behind a stove cooktop. Normal mirror is not grade ‘A’ Safety Glass, as normal silvered mirrors are vulnerable to moisture, humidity and susceptible to corrosion and mirror creep rust.
